New Releases and Programming Note

The winter is usually a thin time for new releases at the station, but we did get two new releases of note this week.

The first is Kamelot's "One Cold Winter's Night", and the second is God Dethroned's "The Toxic Touch".

Kamelot has been steadily growing on me since the excellent "The Black Halo", which also got a great response on the show. This 2-CD live set will give the chance to see how the band delivers the goods in a live setting.

We haven't received anything from God Dethroned since their impressive "The Grand Grimoire", so I'm interested to see how they've evolved in the intervening years.

Thanks to SPV and Metal Blade for making this releases available to us!

Programming Note:

Due to a live Hockey broadcast on CFRC, tonight's Tapping the Ether will start an hour later (at 9pm gmt-5) and will end at 11pm. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Things should be back to normal (or whatever passes for normal these days) next week.
